The Final Verdict

After analyzing every metric, here's our professional recommendation.

Newspaper

89/100

Overall Score

Newspaper is the undisputed champion for news and magazine websites. Its ad management system alone justifies the purchase for publishers looking to monetize traffic, while the front-end builder makes content creation intuitive and fast.

OceanWP

Winner

94/100

Overall Score

OceanWP is a fantastic choice if you are building an e-commerce store with Elementor. Its native WooCommerce features often eliminate the need for extra paid plugins. While slightly heavier than Astra, it makes up for it in functionality.

OceanWP is our recommended choice with a score of 94 vs 89. It wins in 5/6 comparison categories. However, both themes are excellent — your final decision should factor in your specific project needs and builder preference.
