The Final Verdict

After analyzing every metric, here's our professional recommendation.

Astra

Winner

98/100

Overall Score

Astra is the undisputed champion of performance. If you are building a site from scratch using Elementor or the block editor, Astra provides the perfect blank canvas. It's built for developers who care about Core Web Vitals.

OceanWP

94/100

Overall Score

OceanWP is a fantastic choice if you are building an e-commerce store with Elementor. Its native WooCommerce features often eliminate the need for extra paid plugins. While slightly heavier than Astra, it makes up for it in functionality.

Astra is our recommended choice with a score of 98 vs 94. It wins in 5/6 comparison categories. However, both themes are excellent — your final decision should factor in your specific project needs and builder preference.
